Featured Home - 201 Ocean Spray

This beautifully designed and constructed four bedroom house reaches out to embrace its visitors  as you cross the  grass courtyard from the street.  Covered walkways are appreciated in rain and snow, but also give cooling shade during hot summer days.  From the courtyard  a series of three doors open into the living room which is surrounded on two sides by windows. The living room is central in the H shape floor plan, and is the natural congregating place whether you are socializing with family and friends, watching a movie on the big screen TV, or reading in front of the gas fireplace.  Opening both sets of French doors unites the deck, living room, and courtyard into a large entertainment area.  There is a I-Pod dock that ties into the house sound system with speakers throughout  the house and on the deck. High speed internet can be accessed from outlets throughout the house, or by WiFi. 

Three bedrooms are on the main floor, each with its own bathroom.  The master bedroom has a four post king sized  bed, and French doors opening out to the deck .  A window seat overlooks forest and the Cle Elum River valley. A walk in closet and private bath complete the suite.  The two other bedrooms have queen sized  beds and abundant windows.  

Enjoy preparing meals in a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops,  large gas stove and oven, stainless steel appliances, under counter microwave, island with prep sink, and Subzero wine cooler.  Morning waffles made with the commercial grade waffle iron are a house tradition.  Two steps down from the kitchen is the vaulted ceiling dining room with three sides of windows looking out on very private views of the woods and valley.   A table of gorgeous bubinga wood seats eight.   French doors open onto the deck where a gas barbecue awaits steaks and corn on the cob.  The deck view from this ridge property is expansive.  If you can stay awake long enough after an active day of  golf or hiking,  you can view stars from the deck, or watch a late night movie with surround sound on an outdoor screen.  It cools off in the mountains at night, even on hot summer days, so bring something warm to wear.

Upstairs two loft areas are connected by a massive wood bridge.  On the far side is a sleeping loft with three single beds, perfect for kids.  It has a shower room and separate WC.  The other loft is a small recreational room with game cabinet, TV, foosball table, treadmill, and a pullout couch.

Recreational equipment is provided in the bike barn attached to one of the two  garages.  There are two "house" bikes, but you may want to bring your own bikes to explore the miles of paved pathways in Suncadia.  Enjoy bocce ball at a nearby park lawn, or shooting hoops at one of several basketball courts in the  resort.  Perhaps most fun, and strangely elegant, is sipping afternoon drinks and offering kind words of encouragement to your housemates as they play badminton on the grass courtyard.
