Suncadia Paints It Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Resort Creates Pink Room with Proceeds Benefiting Susan G. Komen

Roslyn, Wash. (October, 2013) – To honor National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Suncadia paints it pink for the month of October. In partnership with Susan G. Komen, Suncadia has created a Pink Room in The Lodge featuring pink walls, lamps, bedding, bathrobes, tablecloths, towels, coffee mugs and much more. Guests who book the Pink Room will receive complimentary pink cupcakes and a bottle of pink sparkling wine.  In addition, from 8 to 9 p.m. each evening, Suncadia’s Fifty-6 Degrees will be featuring a Pink Hour offering a selection of pink cocktails including a Magenta Cosmo, Pink French 75, Pommery Pop and Blanc de Noir pink sparkling wine.

Breast cancer claims the lives of 110 women every day in the United States. To help combat the devastating disease, Suncadia is donating all the proceeds from its Pink Room and 50 percent of the proceeds from the pink cocktails to Susan G. Komen.

Komen was founded in 1982, launching the global breast cancer movement. Today, it is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

Room Reservations:

Overnight stays in the Pink Room are available for a $250 per night donation to Susan G. Komen for Sunday through Thursday and $500 per night for Friday and Saturday throughout October. For more information or to book the Pink Room, visit or call reservations at (866) 904-6300.
