(March 5, 2012) – Suncadia, a year-round mountain resort community located just 90 minutes east of Seattle, is celebrating Easter in the Cascades with a basketful of family-friendly activities for guests. On Saturday, March 30 and Sunday March 31, guests can indulge in bountiful brunches, egg-citing egg hunts, special appearances from the Easter Bunny and an egg dying workshop.

"We are thrilled to be purchasing thousands of toy- and candy-filled Easter eggs from Sunny Bunny Easter Eggs, an incredible program that provides employment opportunities to people with disabilities."

Eighth Annual Community Easter Egg Huntbeginning at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. Thousands of Easter eggs, provided by Sunny Bunny Easter Eggs, will be hidden throughout the Prospector Golf Course Driving Range. This activity is free and open to everyone in the community and is sponsored by the Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement.

Breakfast with the Bunny– families are invited to continue the festivities with a holiday brunch in the Rialto Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., featuring a family-friendly menu and an appearance and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Cost is $21 for adults, $10 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children ages 3 and younger, plus an additional charge for photos.

Egg Dying at the Lodge at Suncadiain the Great room at the Lodge from 1 to 3 p.m.

Suncadia Underwater Easter Egg Hunt– from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., eggs will be dispersed on the bottom of the indoor pool at Suncadia’s Swim & Fitness Center for intermediate swimmers to gather and redeem for fun prizes. Easter Sunrise Service at The Inn at Suncadiaguests are invited to join Pastor Worth Wilson of Cle Elum Community Church at 6:30 a.m. at the Inn at Suncadia.

Suncadia’s Fabulous Easter Sunday Brunch– Suncadia’s traditional Easter Sunday brunch will be held in Portals from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring a specially-crafted menu prepared by Suncadia chefs. Cost is $37 for adults, $17 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children ages 3 and younger.

Sunny the Bunny Deliveriesguests can arrange for Sunny the Bunny to hop by their Lodge condo or hotel room for a special Easter morning delivery for the children. Cost is $30 and includes a bunny gift and note from Sunny. Additional gift sets can be purchased for $20. Lodge Easter Egg Hunt– Lodge hotel guests ages one to 12 will be provided with an official "egg hunting license" and the chance to fill their complimentary baskets to the brim with all the eggs they can find.
