With over 70 years of combined experience, the Suncadia Sales Team is recognized nationally from planners and industry organizations for their experience, professionalism, and success.  The team splits their time between the Bellevue Sales Office, in order to be closer to their Seattle area customers, and Suncadia.    

Richard Brooks | Director of Sales and MarketingRichard Brooks



With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Brooks has served as director of sales and marketing at various resorts from coast to coast. Most recently, Brooks was the director of sales and marketing at Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Ariz., where he notably led the sales, catering and conference services team to achieve a no. 1 rating in Meeting Planner Satisfaction for all North American Westin properties in 2010 and 2012. In addition, Brooks served as the director of sales and marketing at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa in Bedford, Penn., The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, N.C., and sales director at Walt Disney World Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Brooks earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Elon University in Elon, N.C.



Timothy Carr | Director of Sales



Timothy was born and raised in Alaska and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA studying political science and philosophy. Timothy has spent the last 25 years on the West Coast in the hospitality industry, starting with Ceasar’s Lake Tahoe as the V.I.P. host. Timothy moved to San Diego and has worked as a national sales manager with luxury independants such as the Bahia, Catamaran and Lodge at Torrey Pines, resorts. In addition, Timothy was the associate director of sales for the Radisson San Diego and the Hilton San Diego, and then returned to the Pacific Northwest with Noble House Hotels and Resorts as director of group sales for the Iconic Edgewater, where he set the record for most revenue booked in a single month, in the 50 year history of The Edgewater, and led the team to record group revenues. Timothy’s passions include fly fishing and golf, which are happily abundant at Suncadia Resort.



Cynay Smith | Director of Association Sales Cynay Smith

Cynay received her B.S. degree from the University of California-Santa Cruz and then completed a variety of work in restaurant management and convention services in California, Arizona, and Colorado before relocating to Washington in 1998.  She was the Association Sales Manager for Semiahmoo before joining Destination Hotels and Suncadia.  Cynay works with state, regional, and national associations to assist them in meeting their annual goals.  She has been recognized by Destination Hotels & Resorts as a Chairman's Club member, highest sales achievement award, for 3 years in 2010-2011 and 2013 as well as Presidents Club in 2012. When not working with her loyal clientele Cynay enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband at home on their five lovely acres.

Born and raised in Spokane and a Washington State University graduate in Hotel & Restaurant Administration, Andrea began her career in hospitality sales in 2000 with multiple properties for Marriott International and Starwood in California.  She moved back to the NW in 2007 to continue her sales career at Suncadia.  Andrea works with corporations and businesses introducing her clients to the best resort in the NW.  She has been recognized by Destination Hotels & Resorts as a Chairman's Club member, highest sales achievement award in 2010 and 2013.  In her spare time she spends time with her husband, daughter and baby son.

Dawn Cameron Dawn Cameron

National Sales Manager


A native of Washington state, Dawn attended Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University.  She spent 15 years of her professional career working for Nordstrom, an organization renowned for exceptional quality and customer service, during which she received several sales achievement awards.  Dawn joined Suncadia in 2010 as Membership & Events Coordinator for the Tumble Creek Club and in October 2012 she transitioned to the Bellevue Sales Office.  Her strong work ethic, tenacious cold calling, and incredible networking resulted in her acheiving Destination Hotels & Resorts highest sales achievement, Chairman's Club in 2013 as well as the Rising Star Awrd reflecting the best in hospitality sales attributes.  Dawn is married and has two children.  When not at Suncadia Dawn has a passion for entertaining family and friends and cheerign on the Seattle Seahawks!  


Brie Bass | National Sales ManagerBrie Bass

Having spent most of her life in Washington and a graduate of Central Washington University in Recreation and Tourism, Brie's resume includes a great depth of hospitality experience that positions her as a great asset to her clientele.   For the previous four years Brie served as our Executive Meetings Manager and for the last three years in this role she was recognized by Destination Hotels & Resorts as a Chairman Club member, highest sales achievement.  Brie has also continuously received high ratings from her client satisfaction surveys for her hard work extended throughout the planning and execution on her client events.  When not at Suncadia you will find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband, infant daughter and their 2 Labradors. 



Jesi Siemons | Wedding Catering Sales & Services Manager


Originally from Renton Washington, Jesi found herself east of the mountains to attend Central Washington University to obtain a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Family Studies. With over five years of experience working with weddings, she began as a florist in Ellensburg Washington and the surrounding areas. Jesi began working at Suncadia in 2010, holding many different positions in a wide variety of departments, which includes 2 years on Suncadia's catering team. Jesi has the great opportunity to connect with her clients on a personal level due to her dual role of contracting and servicing each wedding. While not at Suncadia, she enjoys the outdoors and attending sporting events with her two year old daughter.



Kasey Craft | Executive Meetings Manager


Our newest addition to the Suncadia sales team, Kasey Craft, is already a proven hospitality professional.  For the previous five years Kasey served as Suncadia's Outlet Manager where she has overseen Portals Restaurant, Fifty-6 Degrees Lounge, and our in-room dining program.  Her career with Suncadia started in March of 2009 as a Portals server before moving into management where she moved up the ranks to her current position.  Kasey exudes a very positive attitude in everything she does which translates to a great meeting and event experience for her clients.  Kasey is a graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition.  When not working with Chef on new menu ideas, Kasey loves to cook on her own (baked sweet tarts are her speciality) as well as spending time with her family and doing yoga.
