Suncadia Welcomes Scott Spann, General Manager of Resort Operations

Suncadia, a year-round mountain resort community located 80 miles east of Seattle, is excited to announce the appointment of Scott Spann as general manager of resort operations.

 

“We’re very excited to have Scott on board at Suncadia,” said Roger Beck, managing director of Suncadia. “He has extensive expertise in the hospitality industry, working in variety of resorts across the country. I know his experience will benefit Suncadia, and I’m eager to see how his background will contribute to the resort.”

As general manager of resort operations, Spann will oversee all aspects of the resort including food and beverage, golf and rental management, as well as overseeing the overall Suncadia sales and management team. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role, including his most recent position as general manager at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Wash. In addition, Spann served as general manager of The Chattanoogan Hotel in Chattanooga, Tenn., and as general manager at Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, N.J. He also founded and served as president of Tiburon Hospitality Management Company in Carefree, Ariz.
