CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING & SNOWSHOEING
We have several miles of groomed trails waiting for you to enjoy in at Suncadia.
Trails are groomed regularly for cross country skiing and maps are available. Bring your own skis or rent them from The Inn every day from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Limited amount of children's skis are available.
Snowshoe rental: $12/2-hr & $20/24-hr.
Snowshoes are also available for rent, and a great way to tour Suncadia. Grab your family, and crunch around our beautiful property! You can also do a guided snowshoe hike with a member of Suncadia's Recreation team. Cost is 30$/person for a guided snowshoe hike on our beautiful groomed trails. Water and a snack are provided.

Ages 4 - 12yrs and must be potty trained. CampCadia is all about experiencing all there is to do in Suncadia "kids style" with programs that include loads ofactivities, crafts and field trips all organized around a fun theme. The programming takes into consideration thewide range of ages we serve to ensure maximum fun for all participants!
CampCadia has a highly qualified and talented group of facilitators that are committed to ensuring your child has a memorable but safe experience every time. Eachof our camp counselors have passed a thorough background check, possess food handler's cards and are certified in first aid and CPR. Snacks are included and lunch is provided as part of the full day program. Program prices vary. Advance Reservations required, call 509.649.6461. At least two
or more children must be registered to facilitate any CampCadia program.

During your winter visit please take advantage of our ice skating located at the Village Pavilion. We have morning, afternoon and evening sessions complete with skate rental. Warm yourself by the firepit while sipping hot chocolate or making s'mores to round out your winter memories.

ROPE TOW INNER TUBING HILL
Experience the thrill of the hill on an inner tube with a rope tow return. Enjoy a hot chocolate while planning your next downhill strategy. Inner tubes are included with lift ticket purchase (no private sleds allowed). Waiver required for participation. Children must be 42" tall; the minimum age for a child to go tubing is 3 years old. Adults and child must ride tube alone for safety reasons. No pets allowed on the hill.
Located off Rope Rider Road next to Swiftwater Winery (Shuttles available to take you to the hill from The Lodge).

Snowshoe Winter Wonderland BBQ
Take the Snowshoe Trekking to the next level with the Winter Wonderland BBQ Lunch option. Snowshoe trek through the woods to our Winter Wonderland Fish Shack overlooking the Cle Elum River. We'll be grilling steaks, chicken and have a variety of other great items along with beverages for you. Our Fish Shack has heat and is comfortable for small to medium size groups. Consider moonlight snowshoeing and have dinner. The cost is $120 for adults and $95 for children 12 years or younger. Contact the concierge or front desk of the lodge to schedule.
Winter Walk and Wade Guided Fly Fishing
Fly fish the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides. The fishing in the winter on the Yakima River can be outstanding. The two to three hour excursion departs from the Suncadia Lodge and includes all fly fishing gear, supplies, waders and boots. Warm beverages and snack are provided during the trip. If conditions are right, snowshoeing to a remote part of the river can be lots of fun on this trip. A fishing license is necessary and can be provided. Up to three anglers per guide at $85 per hour with a two hour minimum. A great way to learn the sport. Please contact the concierge or front desk of the lodge to arrange a Winter Walk and Wade Fly Fishing trip. Trips are available daily at any time.
Winter Guided Fly Fishing Drift Trips
The best way to experience some great winter fly fishing on the Yakima River is floating in a drift boat. The winter fly fishing can be outstanding with low river flows and crystal clear water. The trout are typically interested in many of the small aquatic insects that are active throughout the winter months. Take advantage of the special time winter is for fly fishing the Yakima River.
Trips last about four to six hours and include transportation from the Suncadia Lodge, all fly fishing equipment, supplies, waders and boots. Warm beverages and snacks are also available. A fishing license is necessary and can be provided. Fly fishing experience is not necessary and beginners are welcome. Special winter rate of $375 plus tax for one or two anglers.
